What is Young Women’s Camp?
Young Women’s camp is a week where young women can gather together, separate from worldly influences, feel the Spirit of the Lord, grow in unity and love, and strengthen their faith and testimonies of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
How is Young Women’s Camp organized?
Young Women camp is planned and put together by the youth camp leaders, Stake Young Women Presidency and other adult leaders. As camp is planned and organized it will help the young women grow in the gospel of Jesus Christ, develop friendships, and increase in self-reliance and outdoor skills.
Who can attend Young Women’s Camp?
Camp is for all young women eligible to participate in the Young Women program. Leaders should determine which young women will be old enough by the date of camp and invite them to participate. Parents and leaders may counsel together on any exceptions to the age guideline with consideration of maturity and peer relationships.
Are those who are not members of the Church welcome to attend?
Yes, as long as they are willing to abide by Church standards.
How much does camp cost?
The cost for camp is $125 per young women. Payment can be made through your home ward donation envelope. Check with your ward leaders to find ways to raise money for camp.
